  • July 9-12, 2017 - Daniel Gulchak, Adam Leckie, Joan McDonald and Maria Rosetti will be attending the CEC Legislative Summit in Washington, D.C. to advocate for our students and educators, meet our AZ Senators and US Representatives, and share policy and legislative issues on Capitol Hill. Wish them luck!

    • Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) pulled the Senate Republican bill, Better Care Reconciliation Act (BCRA) this week. Overwhelming public opposition and “no” votes from at least four Republican Senators led to the abandonment.     AZCEC is the Arizona branch of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). CEC is the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, students with disabilities, and/or the gifted.
