Exceptional Children's Week

Georgia Exceptional Children's Week is...March 5-9, 2018

Our theme this year:

Connecting Educators, Students and Communities

This year, instead of a Poster Contest, we have decided to do something a little different. We would like for our students to use some type of technology to help promote our theme, as if they were advertising our theme. Possible uses of technology include making a short (no more than 1 minute) video, either with animation or with real students/people(make sure you have signed releases from parents if the pictures are of students!); Making a PowerPoint Presentation to explain what the theme means to them; Making a visual still photo collage of the meaning of the theme. Any other “technology” related ideas that the students can think of would be welcomed! The student winner of the technology promotion will receive a Visa gift card for $75.00. There will also be prizes for the teacher who has submitted the winning entry from his/her classroom. Also, the winning technology entry will be posted on the Georgia CEC website. Please make sure your teachers are aware of the contest this year. All entries must be received no later than February 5, 2018.
